Competitions

A big part of the ACM student chapter is programming competitions. Since time immemorable, we have gone to every instance of the national ACM's International Collegiate Programming Competition. Our region's competitions are held in Youngstown, Ohio at Youngstown State University. Starting in 2009, we are hosting our own in-house programming competition for University of Akron students.

If you are interested in joining our practices, forming a team, or learning more about competing, we meet every Friday at 6:00 PM in CAS 254. If you are interested in learning more about programming, or want to be a programming rockstar, we encourage you to show up, help out, and maybe even join.
