Top 2 games of all time (that I have experienced) are
#1 Warcraft 3
#2 Starcraft
2 games that I can never seem to completely drop and I have continued to play time and time again.

I totally agree with NFS Hot Pursuit 2, I have played many racing games and that one is the best.

Could never get into any racing games besides Mario Kart and I could never really get into the Sonics.
I actually recently was going to go back and play lunar but its broke...I remembered it was a good game but that was about it. I also recently just went through Chrono Trigger again because it is such a great game also.
Really I enjoy the entire final fantasy series but out of all RPGs of all time I would have to go with Dragon Warrior 4 for the NES.
RTS being my favorite type of game Warcraft 3 must be given a serious chance. I still put it above Starcraft.

HL1/HL2 are great as well as a majority of all the mods around it. The Unreal Tournament games are also made of win. Halo CE for the xbox is great, but has a noticeable number of multi-player exploits and glitches. The Neverhood for PC is a definite top 3 candidate. Shadow Run for the 360 is good as well, but got stomped on by the release of halo 3. Mirror's edge is good too, but its replay value is debatable. And as always, A Link to the Past is teh 1337xorz.
